Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated October 4, 2026

Bu metnin Türkçesi

In short

  • Use the Service lawfully, honestly and with respect for other people.
  • No fake reviews, impersonation, spam or deceptive political content.
  • Don't present AI-assisted work as your own where that isn't allowed, such as in exams or classes that ban AI.
  • Build voices only from your own writing or writing you have permission to use.
  • If you break these rules, we may limit or close your account. You can always appeal.

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") sets the rules for using AI Ghostwriter (the "Service"). It's part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses the Service, including the trial without an account. The trial is only for people aged 18 or over; by using it, you accept this Policy and our Terms of Service.

It covers what you put in (including the samples you use for voices), what you generate, and how you use outputs outside the Service. It doesn't replace the law: you also need to follow the laws that apply to you and the rules of the platforms where you publish.

2. The basic rule

AI Ghostwriter is built to help you write better and faster in your own voice. You're the one who uses and publishes what you create, so you're responsible for it. Use the Service lawfully, don't mislead people, and respect other people's rights.

3. Illegal and harmful content

Don't use the Service to create content that:

  • is illegal, or promotes crime or gives instructions for committing it;
  • promotes or supports terrorism or violent extremism, or incites violence;
  • explains how to make or illegally get weapons, explosives, drugs or other dangerous substances;
  • sexually depicts real people without their consent, or is obscene in breach of the law;
  • encourages suicide, self-harm or eating disorders;
  • makes false claims that damage someone's reputation.

Fiction can explore dark themes. But calling something fiction doesn't make content this Policy prohibits acceptable.

4. Protecting children

We have zero tolerance for content that sexually exploits or endangers children. Don't use the Service to create anything that sexualizes minors, depicts or promotes child sexual abuse, or helps anyone groom, contact or exploit a child. We'll close accounts that do this and report them to the authorities where the law requires.

5. Harassment and hate

Don't use the Service to:

  • threaten, harass, bully, intimidate or stalk anyone;
  • attack or demean people because of their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, language, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or similar characteristics;
  • expose private information about someone, such as their home address or phone number, or encourage others to target them.

6. Deception and impersonation

Don't use the Service to mislead people. In particular:

  • Impersonation: Don't pretend to be a real person, company or organization, or create content that falsely appears to come from them or to be endorsed by them.
  • Fake reviews and testimonials: Don't write reviews, ratings, testimonials or endorsements that aren't based on a real experience, or publish them as genuine.
  • Astroturfing: Don't use fake accounts, bot networks or coordinated posting to make an opinion, product or person look more popular than it is.
  • Disinformation: Don't present information you know is false as news, scientific findings or official statements, or spread misleading content meant to affect public health or public order.
  • Hidden advertising: Don't hide the fact that a post is paid or sponsored.
  • False credentials: Don't create CVs, cover letters or applications that claim degrees, certificates, experience or references you don't have.
  • Fraud and scams: Don't create phishing messages, fake offers, investment scams or other content meant to trick people out of money or information.

7. Spam

Don't use the Service to create or send spam, including bulk unsolicited messages, or to get around other platforms' spam rules. If you send marketing messages, you need the recipients' consent where the law requires it.

8. Elections and civic processes

Don't use the Service to undermine elections or public debate, including by:

  • spreading false information about when, where or how to vote, or who can vote;
  • impersonating candidates, election officials or public authorities;
  • running undisclosed political campaigns or coordinated influence operations;
  • creating misleading content meant to sway an election or a referendum.

9. Academic and professional integrity

Don't use outputs in a way that breaks rules against using AI, or rules that require you to disclose it. For example, don't:

  • hand in outputs as homework, theses, papers or exam answers where your school, university or institution prohibits AI;
  • present outputs as your own original work in competitions, scholarship applications or publications that don't accept AI-generated content;
  • break professional rules that limit the use of AI in your field.

Don't present outputs as legal, medical or financial advice from a licensed professional. If a text in one of these areas will affect other people, have a qualified expert check it first.

10. Other people's rights

  • Intellectual property: Don't use the Service to copy, republish or pass off other people's books, articles, lyrics or other works without permission.
  • Voices: Build voices only from your own writing or writing you have permission to use. Don't use another author's, journalist's or public figure's writing to impersonate them or take their place.
  • Personal data and privacy: Don't process other people's personal data unlawfully. If you need to include someone else's personal data in your inputs, make sure you have a legal basis for it.
  • Personality rights: When you write about real people, for example in memoirs, speeches or biographies, respect their rights.

11. Using the red pen responsibly

The red pen is an editorial quality step that makes AI-assisted drafts read more naturally and closer to your voice. It is not designed to evade AI detectors.

  • Don't use it to get around rules that ban AI or require you to disclose it.
  • We make no promises about what any AI detector will say about a text.
  • If a platform, an institution or the law requires you to disclose that a text was written with AI, that's your responsibility.

12. Security and technical abuse

Don't:

  • create malware, exploits or other code or content meant to harm systems or people;
  • probe, scan or test the Service for vulnerabilities without our permission (if you find one, please report it to support@example.com);
  • get around usage limits, rate limits, the trial limit or payment steps, for example by creating multiple accounts or rotating IP addresses;
  • create new accounts to evade a suspension or ban;
  • access the Service or collect data from it by automated means (bots, scripts, scrapers), except through the interfaces we provide;
  • overload or disrupt the Service;
  • try to extract our system prompts or source code, or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law expressly allows it;
  • share your account, resell access to the Service, or offer it to others as your own product.

13. Reporting misuse

If you think someone is using the Service in breach of this Policy, tell us at support@example.com or through the contact form. We review every report and take the action we think is appropriate. We comply with orders from competent authorities as the law requires.

14. Enforcement

Depending on how serious a violation is, we may:

  • warn you;
  • refuse a request or not generate the content;
  • limit features or usage limits;
  • suspend your account temporarily;
  • close your account permanently;
  • report the matter to the authorities where the law requires.

Some requests may also be blocked automatically by our safety checks or by model providers' own filters.

When we restrict your account, we'll tell you what we did and why, unless the law or a security risk prevents us. How enforcement affects a paid plan is covered in the Terms of Service.

15. Appeals

If you think we made a mistake, email support@example.com and tell us why. A person, not an automated system, will review your appeal, and we'll let you know the outcome. If we got it wrong, we'll reverse our decision.

16. Changes

We may update this Policy as new kinds of misuse appear or the law changes. We'll announce material changes in advance.
