Cookie Policy

Bu metnin Türkçesi

In short

  • We only use cookies the site needs to work: to keep you signed in, remember your choices and protect the site.
  • We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics runs only if you agree, and it doesn't set cookies.
  • You can change your choice anytime with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. The site reads them on later visits, for example to know that you're signed in. Websites can also save data in your browser's local storage, which works in a similar way but isn't sent to the website automatically.

This policy explains which cookies and browser storage AI Ghostwriter (https://hidengpt.com) uses, why, and how you can control them. The site is run by [Company legal name].

2. Cookies we use

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work, stay secure and remember the choices you make:

Name Set by Purpose Type Duration
gw_session AI Ghostwriter Keeps you signed in. It's httpOnly, so scripts on the page can't read it, and we store only a hash of its value. Strictly necessary 30 days, extended while you keep using the site
gw_consent AI Ghostwriter Remembers your cookie choices, so we don't ask on every visit. Strictly necessary 12 months
gw_lang AI Ghostwriter Remembers the interface language you picked (English or Turkish). It's set only when you choose a language. Strictly necessary (functional) 12 months
gw_oauth_state AI Ghostwriter Checks that a "Sign in with Google" request really came from you (protection against cross-site request forgery). Strictly necessary 10 minutes
__cf_bm Cloudflare, Inc. Tells people apart from bots to protect the site. Strictly necessary About 30 minutes

We set all of these cookies ourselves, except __cf_bm, which Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider, sets on our domain.

You need these cookies to sign in and use the site safely. Under EU and UK e-privacy rules, strictly necessary cookies don't require consent, but we still want you to know what they do.

3. Browser storage

We also save one item in your browser's local storage:

Name Purpose Type Duration
gw_pending_draft If you type a request on the homepage and then sign up, it keeps your text so it isn't lost. It stays in your browser and isn't sent to us until you submit it after signing up. Strictly necessary (functional) Until it's sent, or 24 hours at most

4. Analytics

To understand how the site is used, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It:

  • loads only if you agree to analytics in the cookie banner;
  • doesn't use cookies or browser storage;
  • according to Cloudflare, doesn't identify or track visitors by IP address or browser fingerprint;
  • gives us aggregate statistics such as page views, popular pages, referring sites, device and browser types, and countries.

If you don't agree, it never loads, and the site works exactly the same.

Separately, our own servers count a few anonymous events, such as a view of the pricing page or which tool was used in the trial. These counts don't use cookies and don't include account details or IP addresses.

5. No advertising cookies

We don't use advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don't show ads from third-party ad networks. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy first and use such cookies only with your consent.

6. How to change your choices

  • On our site: Click "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page to turn analytics on or off. Your new choice applies right away and is saved in the gw_consent cookie.
  • In your browser: You can view, delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you may not be able to sign in or use some features.

If you delete your cookies, your choices are deleted too, and we'll ask again on your next visit.

7. Changes and contact

When the cookies or browser storage we use change, we'll update this policy and the tables above.
